We’re currently seeking compassionate, dependable and hard-working Nursing Assistants to help our clients maintain a safe and healthy living environment. The ideal candidate for this position has experience working in a medical setting and will be comfortable working with a wide range of patient care needs. The Nursing Assistant must be aware of personal hygiene and safety for his/her client base and work closely with supervising staff to accomplish tasks.
Responsibilities:
Answer calls from patients and family members, and be able to respond to them in a timely manner.
Answer questions about patients' conditions, health care plans, or insurance coverage.
Provide administrative support in the nursing department.
Prepare patients for examination and surgery.
Prepare meals for patients.
Transport patients to and from appointments, treatment facilities, and other locations.
Keep track of patient accounts.
Monitor patient records.
Sit or stand for long periods of time.
Help move patients.
Move materials from one location to another.
